Hearing Stage

Preparation & Appearance

Assist in preparing show cause hearings. Experienced associates may appear independently after training.

Assist in preparing hearing submissions
Research relevant case laws and precedents
Coordinate with client for evidence
Accompany or support advocate at hearing
Independent appearances after authorisation

Is this a paid position or unpaid internship?
This is a fee-sharing engagement, not a salaried position. Associates earn a share of professional fees with no ceiling on earnings.
Do I need to be based in Ernakulam?
No. Work-From-Anywhere model. You can be based anywhere in India. All filings are online and hearings are via video call.
How long does the training programme take?
Typically 2 to 4 weeks depending on availability. Study materials, practical exercises and mentoring by advocates. No fee for training.
What percentage of fees will I receive?
Discussed individually during onboarding and formalised in a written Associate Agreement before engagement begins.
Can I continue my current job while being an associate?
Yes, provided there is no conflict of interest. Many associates engage part-time alongside existing work.
What happens after I apply?
